Upgrades and customizations galore await players, and the fleet ranges from supercars under the Porsche and Mercedes badges, to classic beaters, to mud-hopping jeeps, and just about anything else in between. Players were given glimpses of a large, apparently open world for driving, dotted with map icons and points of interest where they can pose their autos in GT7’s photo mode.Ī large garage serves as the game’s hub world, and it’s where players will store all the vehicles they unlock. The launch date announcement came in a trailer filled with long looks at the game’s high-fidelity visuals and new features. It’ll be the first numbered entry in PlayStation’s driving series in almost nine years. Gran Turismo 7 will launch March 4, 2022, for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Sony announced Thursday.
